Projects

In this section you can define your new project. A project is where you define what will happen to the file from the start to the end. Here you will define which steps the file must go through (Concatenation, Indexing, Adding to the EAS Website,). This is also where you will define the scheduling (at which occurrence does the A4SB server has to check if there are new files to process).

Workload balancing

A4SB natively allows workload balancing to optimize the use of your servers to the maximum extent possible. Under the Clients section you will find a list of all the connected clients by Computer name. When clicking on a client you can see which task this client supports (depending on the Cecurity Argus software that is installed on this computer, it will have more or less tasks available). Under each task you can see if there is a job in process.

Central monitoring

This is a view of all the jobs that have been processed:

  • Only between: You can filter this view by date when selecting a date range and clicking on Search, it will only show you the jobs for the selected date range
  • Start File: This column refers to the file that has been imported during the scheduling
  • Project: Here you can filter on the project you wish to see by clicking the button. If no filter is chosen, all the projects are shown
  • Status: This gives you the status of the files in the project
  • Start Time: The time when the Start File was imported in the project
  • End Time: The time the project finished
  • Duration: Time it took for the file to be processed by all the tasks in the project
  • Ticket: Ticket created in the journal so you can follow-up what happened with the file
